  • Birth Information: Date, time, and location of birth for calculating your birth chart. This data is stored securely and never shared without your consent.

  • Ritual Notes: Personal notes and journal entries you create within the app.

Location Data

  • Current Location: Used solely for calculating accurate planetary hours and sunrise/sunset times based on your geographic coordinates.
  • Birth Location: Saved from your birth data for chart calculations.

Subscription and Payment Data

  • Subscription Status: Whether you have an active premium subscription.

  • Payment Information: We do NOT store credit card details. All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.

  • Astrological Services: Calculating birth charts, planetary hours, transits, and personalized readings.
  • Account Management: Authenticating your identity and managing your account.

  • AI Features: If you use premium AI features, your queries are sent to our AI providers (OpenAI or Grok) with minimal context. Birth data is used for timing context only, never shared with identifiable information.

We will never use your personal information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose not directly related to providing our ritual planning services.

These providers process data solely to provide services to Mana Clavis and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Mana Clavis offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Payment Processing

  • • All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
  • • We never see or store your payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.).
  • • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation.

Managing Your Subscription

Refund Policy

Free Trial

If you start a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Your subscription will continue automatically after the trial if not canceled.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy:

  • Active Accounts: Your data is retained while your account is active.
  • Subscription Data: Transaction records are kept for up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance.
  • Analytics Data: Anonymous usage data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
  • Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
  • Backup Systems: Data in backups is deleted within 90 days of account deletion.
