Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Mana Clavis (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Mana Clavis is an iOS application for ceremonial magic and ritual planning, providing:

• Planetary Hours: Real-time calculation of planetary hours based on traditional grimoire systems, particularly the Key of Solomon.
• Birth Chart Analysis: Astrological chart generation using your birth data.
• Ritual Planning: Tools for planning and tracking ceremonial work and spiritual practices.
• Discipline Tracking: Habit formation and consistency tracking for spiritual development.
• AI Guidance (Premium): Optional AI-powered insights for ritual timing and ceremonial planning.

The App is designed for informational, educational, and personal spiritual purposes only.

Informational and Spiritual Nature

All content provided by the App—including planetary hours, astrological readings, and guidance—is intended for informational and spiritual exploration purposes only. It should not be considered as professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise).

Users are solely responsible for their decisions and actions. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information provided.

User Account and Registration

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account:

• Sign in with Apple: We use Apple's authentication service to create and secure your account.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate birth data and other information for proper calculation of astrological features.
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings, which will permanently remove all your personal data.

User Conduct

You agree to use the App responsibly and lawfully. You will not:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Distribute, modify, or create derivative works without permission
• Use the App in a way that could harm, disable, or impair its functionality
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or payment systems
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are the property of Mana Clavis and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our Property

• App design, interface, and user experience
• Source code and software architecture
• Mana Clavis name, logo, and branding
• Original content, descriptions, and text
• Calculation algorithms and methodologies

Your Content

You retain ownership of any personal data you enter into the App (birth charts, ritual notes, journal entries). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide our services to you.

Traditional Knowledge

Astrological systems, planetary hours, and grimoire references (such as the Key of Solomon) are based on traditional esoteric knowledge in the public domain. Our specific implementation and presentation of this knowledge is proprietary.

Subscriptions and Payments

Premium Subscription

Mana Clavis offers premium features through an auto-renewable monthly subscription:

• Premium Features: Access to AI guidance, advanced ritual planning, and enhanced astrological insights.
• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation.
• Price: Subscription pricing is displayed clearly before purchase and may vary by region.

Free Trial

If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges. Your subscription will automatically continue after the trial period if not canceled.

Managing Your Subscription

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID account:

• Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• Or visit: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
• Cancel anytime before the next billing cycle
• Subscription benefits continue until the end of the current billing period

Refunds

All purchases are final and handled by Apple according to their refund policies. We do not have access to Apple's payment systems and cannot process refunds directly.

• Include your order number and reason for the refund request
• Refund decisions are at Apple's sole discretion

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. You will be notified in advance of any price changes, and changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services to provide functionality:

• Apple Services: Sign in with Apple for authentication, Apple App Store for subscriptions
• Firebase (Google): Cloud database, authentication, and hosting services
• AI Providers: OpenAI and Grok for premium AI guidance features

These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services. By using the App, you agree to comply with the terms of these third-party providers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation
• Freedom from viruses or other harmful components
• Results obtained from using the App

Your use of the App is at your own risk. We do not warrant that astrological calculations, planetary hours, or AI guidance will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mana Clavis and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Indirect Damages: Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Data Loss: Loss of data, files, or personal information
• Financial Loss: Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Personal Injury: Physical or psychological harm resulting from App use
• Third-Party Actions: Actions or omissions of third-party service providers
• Service Interruptions: Unavailability or termination of the App or services

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.

• Notification: You will be notified of significant changes through the App or by email
• Effective Date: Changes become effective immediately upon posting unless otherwise stated
• Review Date: The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision
• Continued Use: Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
• Disagreement: If you do not agree with the updated terms, discontinue use of the App and contact us for account deletion

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Deleting your account through the App settings
• Uninstalling the App from your device

Account deletion is permanent and will result in the loss of all your data, including birth charts, ritual notes, and discipline tracking history.

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms of Use
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Harm to other users or our business interests
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Request by law enforcement or legal order

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mana Clavis and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of these Terms of Use
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Any content you submit or actions you take using the App

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@manaclavis.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any disputes within 30 days.

Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law. Arbitration shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with international laws and regulations applicable to digital services:

• GDPR: General Data Protection Regulation (European Union)
• LGPD: Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Brazil)
• CCPA: California Consumer Privacy Act (United States)
• COPPA: Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

For users in specific jurisdictions, additional local laws may apply. In the event of conflict between these terms and local law, local law shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mana Clavis regarding your use of the App. They supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral.
